NAB Bank internet banking question
hey, i'm 18 and just opened my own seperate account from my parents this week. and please don't be too condescending when reading this
i deposited ~500 cash today, i dont think i was very clear when i told the teller to deposit it into my savings account, so when i got home i saw that it had been deposited into my transaction account instead. i thought "no biggie, ill just transfer it to my savings". but apparently i dont not have any available funds even thought it says i have ~500 credit balance. I thought this might be because its just been deposited and hasn't "gone through" yet or whatever, but i moved $1 from my savings into my transaction and i still don't have any available funds. my question is, how long would it take for it to become available to me? is this because my account is new? because ive been told that as soon as i transfer funds it will become immediately available to me from ATM's and such. or is it because there is a limit to what i can transfer a day?
