If you are using Twitter as a social platform, which is the best way to use it, you are probably asking your followers questions either in your own tweets or in replies to their tweets. Don't just ask and leave it be, be sure to reply to them. Follow up with them so they know you care! Same goes for direct messages, take time to answer them in a timely matter.
