Selling to jewelry shops is a great idea, but this too has its problems. Shops will want to see the items for inspection and appraisal. Most likely, you will get an offer for only a fraction of the item's real price. This means you need to go from one shop to the next to show them your jewelry and wait for one that will offer you a good price.
